U ... U ... U ...

Uniquely Understanding Us Under this Universal Umbrella.

Unfortunately so many of us experience an undermining of our true selves early on in life which makes imprints on us and our understanding of our true essence.  An atmosphere void of unconditional love  and the discomfort of self  not being able to just be as is creates a "false self" to navigate this world.  This "un" self looks for external sources for soothing and comfort and confirmation becoming the person that often others need us to become while blocking the true unique YOU.  Trying to live up to other's idea of who we are becomes our own internal mental story and the only way to feel that value of self is to distort the external world.  What ever "false self" we have assumed or learned to identify with will not be deeply grounded in our bodies.

Understanding  is the start to "un"doing the undermining of self.

Underneath the veneer is an unbelievably unique being.  To provide first to self that totally unconditional  environment to "just be" is a start.  Imagine giving to self;  unlimitedunrestrictedunquestioning, completetotal, absoluteout-and-outunequivocal love and acceptance.  WOW!   Imagine that.
Then image this;
once the true self lives and loves from the inside out, the ability to soothe and truly hold others is a universal pay it forward.  WOW WOW!!!

So, how do we do that?   This is the inquiry!

I am going to my yoga mat to feel my body from the inside and start my grounding there this morning.

FOOTNOTE:
After consideration of my original idea of this weekly blog going from A-Z and back again, I've decided to allow the second half of the year to explore weekly in a different way.   Finding lots of relief and openings from my yoga mat  ... I will be exploring in detail, specific yoga poses for all to have a starting place or continuation of understanding from our bodies.  These truly amazing hosts we have to walk around this world ... lets explore them more and how we can honor and learn so much from our bodies.   Let's continue our GROUNDING & GROWING.
